The Wombats, Alexandra Palace, London - 27th March 2018

Amazing performance but terribly coordinated!

I really did enjoy this event and this is not a message to put down the event or the venue in any way! The music was amazing, as always you have continued to bring talented and well-known acts to Bristol. The only query that I have of last night was the way that the crowds were coordinated. Last night I decided to bring my little brother to his first gig and I wanted to show him the full experience so I took him down to the pit (the section nearest to the stage), which is my favourite place to go. We started off in the middle of the floor but as it got busier we decided to push further backwards as the crowd was starting to get more mental. This proved to be quite hard! I thought that it was busy that night but the pit got busier and busier until everyone was cramped in together, making it hard to move and turn around. I would usually have no problem with this either but once again it continued to get busier! At this point I was expecting security to stop people from entering that area but this was not going to happen! There were other children around me getting pushed into mosh pits and getting squashed so it could have been quite dangerous. This was the only thing that I disliked about this event but I feel that this matter should have been taken care of as it was happening as everyone around me saying the exact same thing.
