Banging night

Unfortunately I'm very biased about the band. My 1st tattoo was the then M3T3oRs logo. So I'll say it was a great gig. Yes there was some sound issues at times. But it didn't stop a top notch performance by the band.

The Meteors, The Hairy Dog, Derby - 30th March 2024

Awesome

I've never seen The Meteors but have always wanted to. It can sometimes be a bit of a disappointment when seeing a band after many years of fandom. However NOT this time, the band was brilliant and entertaining, I had a great time and am really pleased I've ticked them off my list, and can't wait to see them again

Psychobilly a-go-go!

Awesome live band. I've wanted to see them for forty years, and wasn't disappointed - they rocked like the proverbial muthaf***ers!

Absolutely amazin as always. Fantastic set list, some really old tracks in there and crowd pleasers. The Meteors really are THE best. Excellent venue and sound too at Duffy’s Bar, Leicester. Perfect venues for Psychobilly

The Meteors, Duffy's DO NOT USE, Leicester - 11th July 2023

The Meteors are not only the pioneers of the psychobilly sound – they consider themselves to be the only true band of the genre.

Formed in 1980; The Meteors original line up included P. Paul Fenech (guitar /vocals), Nigel Lewis (upright bass / bass, vocals), and Mark Robertson (drums). They deviated wildly from the punk rock scene that initially inspired them, drawing on a darker and more atmospheric sound that embraced an experimental foray towards horror and science fiction influences.
