The Lounge Society are an up-and-coming post-punk band from Hebden Bridge, known for their politically charged lyrics, infectious energy, and tight musicianship. The band burst onto the scene with their debut EP Silk For The Starving (2021), which includes the standout track “Burn the Heather,” a sharp commentary on social and environmental issues. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Talking Heads and Gang of Four, The Lounge Society have developed a dynamic and urgent sound that blends post-punk rhythms with catchy, danceable hooks.
