Melting banana's as a due have lost non of there devesting amazement!

The fact that this is the 4th or 5th time I have experienced Melt Banana, the 1st time as a duo, the have lost non of there " can't find the words as to why I think they continue to amaze." as 2 piece outfit, using electronics instead of the previous guitar/bass player and drummer. I just would like a slightly bigger venue as it was uncomfortably claustrophobic

Melt Banana, Exchange, Bristol - 25th October 2019

Melt banana were awsome

I have wanted to see Melt banana live since hearing them on live Peel sessions in 1999. After a wait this long, disappointment was an expectation. Melt banana were truly awsome to see live and performed a powerful set without the need of live drums and base guitar. Yazuko and Agata were very accommodating, happy to talk and have photos taken whilst doing their own merchandising. Great venue, long bar and sticky floor. Plenty of posts to lean against during the support bands.

Melt-Banana, The Fleece, Bristol - 3rd June 2017

Japanese noise group Melt Banana have no comparison. Their unique fusion of hardcore-punk, noise-rock and electronica has earned them a global cult following. Formed in 1992, the band is led by Yasuko Onuki (vocals) and Ichiro Agata (guitars, effects). Their back catalogue includes Speak Squeak Creak (1994), Cactuses Come in Flocks (1994), Scratch or Stitch (1995), Charlie (1998), Teeny Shiny (2000), Cell-Scape (2003), Bambi's Dilemma (2007) and Fetch (2013).
