Lindisfarne, Westgate Hall, Canterbury - 8th April 2018

Superb evening

Small venue but full of life. The band were great and soon had everyone on their feet. Drinks were very reasonably priced and staff were friendly, polite and helpful. A lovely way to spend a Sunday evening.

Lindisfarne, Westgate Hall, Canterbury - 8th April 2018

Fantastic gig

I have watched lindisfarne in various line ups over the years and they are still nothing short of sensational. The ballroom is a very nice setting the seats could have been a bit more comfortable but it didn't stop my enjoyment. Also the staff around the place was very pleasant and helpful

Lindisfarne - Very Special Xmas Show, Sheffield City Hall Ball Room, Sheffield - 17th December 2017

Superb gig

It was over 30 years ago since I last saw Lindisfarne play so I wasn't sure how the performance would compare.. The gig was beyond what I could have expected - the musicianship was amazing, the songs came flooding back and you could have sworn it was Alan Hull singing on stage at times. I will definitely be watching for more gigs from them.

Lindisfarne, Subscription Rooms, Stroud - 22nd October 2017

Originally formed in the Sixties, Lindisfarne have remained one of the world’s most important prog rock bands and a focal point for contemporary music.

The band currently includes drummer Paul Smith, Steve Daggett on keys, guitarists Charlie Harcourt and Dave Hull-Denholm with multi-instrumentalist Rod Clements taking on lead vocals and Ian Thompson on bass guitar.

Get excited because they have announced shows for the new year taking place at Norwich’s Epic Studios, United Reformed Church at Bishop’s Stortford, Best Western Hotel at Ipswich and The Spinney Theatre in Northampton during March, then The Haymarket in Basingstoke and Westgate Hall in Canterbury during April 2018.

They hit the road again later in the year to perform at Doncaster Dome, Corn Exchange Theatre at Stamford, Harpenden Public Halls, Pavilion Theatre in Whitby and Lincoln Alive during September 2018.

The demand is growing so make sure you book your Lindisfarne tickets before they all go. Gigantic makes booking your favourite gig tickets easy as you can place your order 24/7 using your tablet, smartphone or computer from the comfort of your home or while busy on the go.

The band was first formed in 1968 under the name The Downtown Faction, changing it to the now familiar name only two years later. The same year they released their debut album Nicely Out Of Tune.

They continue to write and release new music and have brought out a total of thirteen studio albums so far. Their titles include:

Fog on the Tyne // Dingly Dell // Roll On, Ruby // Happy Daze // Back and Fourth // The News // Sleepless Nights // Dance Your Life Away // Amigos // Elvis Lives on the Moon // Here Comes the Neighbourhood // Promenade
