Healing of the soul - Outstanding
One of my favourite gigs to date. I’ve listened to Daniel’s music for quite some time now and love the way he can capture your soul with his deep and unique sound. The fact that this intimate gig was in a church with incredible history in the heat of East London made the vibe and moment more gripping, emotional and compelling. Daniel’s voice and sound in St Johns Church was truly moving and actually healing. I would wholeheartedly recommend both seeing Daniel play live and visiting St Johns for a gig. My soul feels soothed and repaired after this gig and I would really like to thank Daniel, St Johns and BOTW for putting on this magical event.

Swedish singer-songwriter Daniel Norgren has spent the past two decades rising through the ranks of the indie folk scene. His debut album Kerosene Dreams dropped in 2007 and saw the innovative musician working mainly with homemade instruments. Norgren branched out into blues with his second LP Outskirt in 2008 and began to experiment even further on the third record Horrifying Deatheating Bloodspider saw him earn a singer/songwriter album of the year nomination at the Swedish Manifest Gala. Norgren has released eight studio albums in total, including the latest title Wooh Dang (2019) plus a live record succinctly named Live (2021).
