Great set list, and wonderful musicianship. Good venue too. Hope they return to Edinburgh soon.

Wilco, O2 Forum Kentish Town, London - 30th August 2023
This was only my second Wilco gig, the first being the Red Rooster Festival 2022. Both times were amazing. This was possibly the best gig I've ever attended. Wilco songs are not big crowd singalongs or foot stompers but they somehow carry the crowd with them as the scale the dynamics from gentle country tinged acoustic songs through screaming avant grade craziness. Extremely tight performance from the band.

Wilco have been dubbed by Rolling Stone as “One of America’s most consistently interesting bands”. Quirky and enigmatic, the band have continued to experiment from their inception in the mid Nineties growing into an alternative country cult favourite.
The band commenced after the collapse of the influential band Uncle Tupelo due to a soured relationship between singers Jay Farrar and Jeff Tweedy. The latter was able to forge a band from the remnants of Uncle Tupelo including drummer Ken Coomer, multi-instrumentalist Max Johnston and John Stirratt on bass.
