Platform '96 is back and we're ready to depart to a brand new station with our first gig in Brighton!
In collaboration with Saviour MGMT, we bring you a behemoth co-headliner between SWARM6IX and Eschalon!
If you're a fan of modern metalcore and nu-metal with influences of Ghostemane, Emmure and Limp Bizkit or you're just chasing the moshpit, this is the gig for you! Hop on board! 🚂
SWARM6IX provide a safe space for those who have always appeared anti-social, dormant, and introverted on the surface. The band acquired their unique identity by combining a love for heavy trap and metal music and stand strongly for the freedom of expression within art. SWARM6IX execute a sound somewhere between Ghostemane and Emmure, yet simultaneously evoke nostalgia and familiarity. Adding a sprinkle of modern nu-metal, SWARM6IX have their red beam set to storm the scene with everything they have in their artillery and will not be stopped.
Following on from huge singles such as ‘d0pamine’, ‘LIP$TICK’ and their latest release "Blood $oda", SWARM6IX were previously spun by BBC Radio 1, and have been covered by industry giants such as Loudwire, Metal Hammer and Kerrang.
Founded in Cambridge by Simon Garrod & Miles Taylor, Eschalon has been a behind-the-scenes project for many years. Throughout lockdown, the band finished writing multiple bodies of work before recruiting the right members for the job, which saw the culmination of what we know as Eschalon today. From a behind-the-scenes project to a new auditory and visual live onslaught, Eschalon draws inspiration from a wide range of influences, fusing multiple genres throughout a dense and chaotic soundscape.
The ultimate fusion of aggressive emo and beat-driven hip hop, INTO THE DARK incorporates elements from across genre, injecting trap metal, hardcore punk, psychedelic electronics and even polished k-pop punch into their music. Despite some similarities to nu-metal and rap rock genres, INTO THE DARK are something wholly unique and refuse to be boxed in. The band's name is a self-imposed constant reminder to always keep pushing forward into the unknown.
Modessa are a hard rock 3 piece formed in Shoreham-By-Sea that will definitely get you "Running Around". Not sure what we mean? Come join us and find out for yourselves!
