Robert Jon & The Wreck’s November 2024 UK tour coincides with the news of their forthcoming studio album“Red Moon Rising” released in June 2024. The November and December UK tour follows hot on the heels of RJTW’s 2023 studio album Ride Into The Light featuring songs produced by Grammy Award winner Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, Brandi Carlile), Don Was (John Mayer, Bonnie Raitt), Kevin Shirley (Iron Maiden, The Black Crowes), and Joe Bonamassa and Josh Smith (Marc Broussard, Eric Gales, Joanne Shaw Taylor).
The album found the band reaching a new level of musicianship and songwriting prowess, delivering a fresh take on rock & roll while evoking classic artists like The Allman Brothers Band, Eagles, and Lynyrd Skynyrd.Red Moon Rising showcases a wealth of new material from a band that refuses to be constrained by traditional release strategies. The Wreck’s new partnership with Joe Bonamassa’s Journeyman Records affords them the opportunity to work with the world’s top producers and release a steady stream of high-quality singles on an ongoing basis.
Hailing from Southern California, Robert Jon & The Wreck take the Southern rock sound and put their ownindelible stamp on it. Since their inception in 2011, these four native Californians; Robert Jon Burrison (lead vocals, guitar), Andrew Espantman (drums, background vocals), Henry James Schneekluth (lead guitar, background vocals), Warren Murrel (bass), and new recruit Jake Abernathie (keyboards), have been electrifying audiences all over the world with their soaring guitar leads, rich vocal harmonies, and memorable tunes. Simply put, it is difficult to ignore when these talented musicians take the stage.Little wonder they have made an impact on audiences across the world, where they’ve played a run of sold- out shows and proudly toured with Joe Bonamassa, Blackberry Smoke, Peter Frampton, Buddy Guy, and Rival Sons. 2020’s Last Light On The Highway album garnered worldwide acclaim for the band and 2021’s Shine A Light On Me Brother album continued their upward trajectory, leading to a collaboration with Journeyman Records.Robert Jon & The Wreck have also toured with The Mavericks, Eric Gales, Living Colour, Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Walter Trout, Robert Randolph & The Family Band, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, The Cadillac Three, Black Stone Cherry, Devon Allman Band, Billy Sheehan, Sturgill Simpson, and many more.
