Disappointing event
I'd looked forward to this concert. It was not a great performance. Problems evident during Christopher Ellis set. Then Jnr Gong did take his time to appear on stage, almost an hour. Technical problems ruined the performance for me. Jnr Gong carried on as the consummate professional that he is.

Damian "JR. Gong" never fails
Damian never fails. I remember the first time when I saw him in 2006 at Leeds University. His performance was mesmerising along with the flag man waving the Ethiopian Lion of Judah throughout; the backing vocalist (their singing and dancing) it all works. It felt very spiritual. This time nothing was lost, just added to with growth. Damian shared footage of Haile Selassie, videos of Jamaica and pictures of him with his father. On the bucket list is the Jamrock Reggae Cruise.
