Intimate Performance
It was great to see this group perform in the intimate atmosphere of the Jam Cafe, in the Creative Quarter of Hockley. Benjamin Luhis laid down some heavy grooves on bass, while Jamie Sykes added his syncopated break beats on the drums. Pedraum Agahi added his atmospheric guitar, and Gary Reader soloed over the top. The finale was a Pharoah Sanders cover.

After the announces last week and a wave of cancelled full capacity shows we are so excited to announce the second series of intimate, limited ticketed shows to kickstart the launch of the revival of one of Nottingham’s most historic music venues, ‘The Chapel’.

Benjamin Luhis is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer from Nottingham, UK. His new EP - BENJAMIN LUHIS - is out on Super Music Collider Records. His music is an exploration of future soul, jazz & funk, 70s R&B and electronic music. Benjamin Luhis has collaborated with Ronika, CJ Mirra, Major Ruse, Liam Bailey and Nina Smith..
